A little more wonder, one screen at a time

WhiteScreen started with a simple idea: make your screen useful in a different way. We're still building on that idea. Here's where we'll share what comes next.

Welcome to the WhiteScreen.tv blog. We're glad you're here.

A plain white screen can be surprisingly useful: a little light for a video call, a clean background, or a way to take a closer look at your display. That simple idea is where we started. Since then, WhiteScreen has grown into a collection of color screens, display tools, playful effects, and little ways to make a screen your own.

This blog is a place to share that work with you.

More to explore, less to figure out

We've been working hard to bring more features to WhiteScreen while keeping the experience easy to use. Our latest addition is a larger screensaver collection: 16 live scenes, organized into four categories.

There are northern lights for a quiet evening, flowing silk and liquid gold for a little atmosphere, distant worlds to drift through, and luminous patterns to get lost in. The original six scenes are still here, too. Each scene has a real preview, adjustable speed and color, and its own small set of controls.

Pick something you like, press Start fullscreen, and give your screen a change of scenery. No account or installation needed.

Small details deserve attention

Adding an effect is only part of the work. We're also spending time on the things that make it pleasant to use: settings beside the preview, clear categories, better browsing on smaller screens, and controls that remember your choices.

We want more features to feel like more possibilities, while keeping the familiar simplicity of WhiteScreen. That's the direction we'll keep working toward as we improve the site.

A place to keep you in the loop

Expect notes about new features, practical ways to use the tools, and the thinking behind the details. For a quick list of changes, we've also opened a changelog with highlights from the site's recent history.

We're continuing to work on new features and refinements. We'll share them here as they're ready, and we'd love to hear what would make WhiteScreen more useful to you. You can find our contact details on the About page.

Thank you for making WhiteScreen part of your day. There is more on the way.
