This policy applies to version 2.3 and later of the native whitescreen.tv app, provided by AREALME LIMITED. The website has its own website privacy policy.

What stays on your device

Your colors, favorites, shortcut, effect settings, language, music preferences and benchmark history are stored locally. We do not upload those saved settings or benchmark results. Soundtracks are bundled in the app. No account, contacts, camera, microphone or precise location access is required.

Optional rewarded ads

There are no banner, automatic interstitial or app-open ads. If you choose “Watch one ad”, Google AdMob may process your IP address (including approximate location), app or device identifiers, device information, ad interactions and diagnostic or performance information to deliver, measure and protect the ad service. Non-personalized advertising still involves data processing.

We request non-personalized ads, disable the publisher first-party identifier, and do not request Apple's advertising identifier or permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Google's consent form appears where required before an ad request. You can revisit available choices in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can instead use the free effects or purchase Pro.

A completed reward grants the selected effect for 24 elapsed hours on this device. The grant and expiry are stored in the device Keychain, which can survive reinstallation. They are not an account, do not sync to other devices and expire automatically.

Optional usage analytics

Usage analytics is off by default. If you enable it in Settings, Google Analytics for Firebase receives app usage and purchase events, a randomly generated app-instance identifier, device and app information, and approximate location derived from network information. We use these to understand feature use and improve the app. We do not set a personal user ID, collect the advertising identifier, enable advertising personalization or send your saved colors or benchmark results.

Turning analytics off stops future analytics collection and resets the local analytics identifier. Previously received information is subject to Google's retention and deletion controls. We use the standard two-month retention period for user-level event data; aggregate reports may remain longer. Analytics data is not used to personalize ads.

Purchases

Apple processes the one-time Pro purchase. The app checks Apple's verified transaction status to unlock content and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment card details. Refunds and purchase management are handled by Apple. If optional analytics is enabled, purchase events may also be measured as described above.

Providers and international processing

Google and Apple may process information in countries outside your own under their applicable safeguards and policies. See Google's privacy policy, Firebase privacy information, how Google uses information from apps and Apple's privacy policy. Our support and privacy pages do not embed ad or analytics scripts.

Your controls and requests

You can use the core screen tools without optional ads or analytics. You can change analytics and available ad consent choices in Settings. Deleting the app removes its local library, subject to your iOS backups; Apple purchase records and temporary Keychain grants are separate. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information we hold, or to ask about privacy rights applicable in your region. Because the app has no account, we may need additional information to locate a record and cannot identify a device from an email address alone.

Support and children

If you email us, we use your email and the information you choose to provide to respond. The app is a general-purpose screen utility and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. A parent or guardian can contact us with a concern.
